The channel list is empty

Click the menu bar icon and choose Connect, or open Preferences and click "Login with Twitch". Your followed channels load automatically after you approve access. Preferences → "Sync Follows" pulls in channels you followed later.

The browser did not return to the app after logging in

Make sure Stream Notifier is running, then log in again. If your browser asks whether to open Stream Notifier, allow it.

I don't get notifications

Turn on auto-update in Preferences. Without it the app only checks when you open it.
In System Settings → Notifications → Stream Notifier, allow notifications.
Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not hiding them.

How do I disconnect my Twitch account?

Open Preferences and click "Log Out", or revoke access on twitch.tv under Settings → Connections.
